Mehndi
Mehndi plays an important role in Indian weddings, as bride & groom adorn a paste of henna herb that is designed on their hands. This is a ceremony that takes place on the morning of the wedding day, wherein the family members and close friends apply a paste of haldi on the bride and groom. This ceremony holds a lot of significance and has a lot of symbolic meaning attached to it. The color yellow is used, as it radiates positivity and energy to the couple as they step towards a new life. Haldi purifies and cleanses the skin, it is a natural exfoliator that removes dead skin cells making your skin glow. Moreover, it is believed that applying haldi wards off evil spirits from casting any ill effect on the bride and groom. Wedding
The big day is full of excitement and joy.
