Mehndi
Mehndi plays an important role in Indian weddings, as bride & groom adorn a paste of henna herb that is designed on their hands. It is believed that the deeper the color of the mehndi, the deeper is the bond between the couple. The bride often gets the name of the groom hidden within their mehndi and on the wedding night the groom is supposed to find his name within the intricate pattern, this acts as an ice-breaker to start a conversation of a lifetime.
